WHOLESALE OPTIONS

 

If you like what you see on these pages and are considering purchasing AMSOIL, AGGRAND or ALTRUM products in any significant quantities it makes sense to set yourself up with a wholesale program, which will save you an additional 25% off our retail prices.  Our wholesale prices will often cut your costs by half compared to local retail outlets!  If you only purchase small amounts of product it’s not worth spending the money for wholesale pricing.  However, if you plan on purchasing at least 2-3 cases of oil, for example, then already your savings will overtake the initial fee you paid.  AMSOIL offers several wholesale options, and one of them will fit you best. 


It’s a wise idea to research who you want as your servicing dealer first, however, and allow him/her to assist you in getting set-up with an account that suits your needs.  It’s much better to choose a committed dealer than get paired up with someone who doesn’t put any effort into his business.  This way you can get timely assistance from someone who is experienced and actually wants to help.  With this in mind, consider the following options: 


Preferred Customer:  This is an account option where a small annual fee gains you wholesale pricing for one year, much like being a member of Costco (only cheaper!).  It then either lapses after one year or you can renew it again.  This option is perhaps most suitable for individuals or households that purchase smaller to moderate amounts of product and have no interests in turning it into a business.  In Canada the fee is $30.00 for 12 months, or $15.00 for a one time introductory six month period.  In the U.S. the fee is $20.00 for one year, or $10.00 for the introductory six month period.   


Commercial Account:  This is a great option for businesses that will be using quantities of our product for personal and company use, but not resale.  Examples of such businesses would be excavating and fleet operations, or commercial entities such as farms.  The main benefits of this account type is that once set up there are no minimum orders or other requirements to maintain it.  It’s permanent! 


Retail Account:  This is perhaps the best option for retail businesses (like shops and garages) that want wholesale pricing, and also plan on reselling our products to the public.  Great examples of this are garages, service centers and auto parts stores, among others.  A main benefits of this account type is that once set up it’s permanent!  There are no minimum orders or other requirements to maintain it.  It also gains the account holder accumulated co-op credits with every purchase that can be applied to the purchase of any promotional and advertising materials/clothing (which expire one year from the date of purchase).  To see what’s available, download this PDF here.   


Dealership:  This is an option for those who are interested in the business side of selling our products.  This option takes the most money to set-up and the most effort to achieve success with, but it comes with unique bonuses no other account offers.  Most serious prospective dealers have many questions and need a more experienced dealer to talk them through all of them.  If you have any questions about dealership please don't hesitate to bring them to us.  We will do our best to answer all of your questions.  


Right up front we want to be very honest with you.  This is not a “get-rich-quick” thing.  It will likely take much time and effort before you start seeing significant results.  We don’t want to discourage anyone here; we just want to be realistic and not oversell this.  With a dealership you only have to work as hard at it as you like, but as with most things the more effort you put into this the more success you are likely to meet with in time.  Good things are worth waiting for and Rome wasn’t built in a day, but we are here to assist our down-line as much as we can. 


 With AMSOIL there are never minimum amounts you need to order to keep your account status, although shipping costs make it sensible to combine your orders as much as possible.  We service all types of accounts and dealers from both the U.S. and Canada and would be happy to work with you.  At any time you can change your account status to another if you meet the criterion.  Anyone can start as a Preferred Customer and “upgrade” to a dealer in time if you would like, and vice versa.
